Happy Thanksgiving

We invited our friends, the Welanders, over for Thanksgiving.  A good time was had by all.  Anne loves it when the kids are over. They are very entertaining.

The turkey was in a 9:30am!  Three hours later...yummy!  I bought a fresh turkey this year, it was really very tender and juicy.

Anne seriously does love this exersaucer.  She's actually in it right now smiling at me as I type.

Coolest Toy Ever!

One of Jeff's colleagues, Doron, was kind to give Anne their old Exer-Saucer. Anne has told both mommy and daddy with many smiles and exuberant screams that she thinks this is by far the coolest toy ever!  Anne spends hours playing with all the attachments.

Saturday in the yard

Again, leaves were raked and trees chopped down in our yard. For having such a small yard, it's pretty incredible that we've already raked 17 bags of leaves!

Anne was a big help.

Good Wednesday Morning

Anne's been squirming more and more during tummy time. We're hoping for a roll anyday now. The other morning about a week ago, I went in and Anne was on her stomach. If I hadn't have checked on her before I went to bed, I would have thought Jeff put her down on her tummy. I even woke up Jeff that morning to see it. We're pretty proud new parents and loving every little new accomplishment of our daughtr's life.

Anne is 5 months old today!

Our friend, Laurie came to visit last weekend.  She used to live in Cambridge, but moved to San Francisco about a year ago. This was the first time she got to meet Anne.  We had a great time together and took Anne to the De Cordova Sculpture Park and Museum on Friday.

Working

Hi, this is Anne here.  Daddy gave me special permission to use his mac.  Sometimes he doesn't even let Mommy use it so I feel very special.  I've been helping Dad with his work, analyzing data and such.  Thought I'd take a minute to say hello to all of my followers and say thanks for keeping up with me.

Soon I'll be napping.  After that, I think I'll have a bite to eat and then go for a walk down to the post office with Mommy.  I hope she takes me in the Moby wrap.  I love that thing.  Later today, Mom will drop me off at Helicos and Dad and I will go home to spend the afternoon together while Mommy is working.  Most of the time I work on the computer, helping Dad. I also take naps and play on the floor.  Pretty soon, I think I'm going to be able to roll over.  I'm working on it.  Hope you all have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by our blog!

Anne's Friends

So, last week, my colleague, Michelle, came over with her daughter Eloise to hang out with Anne and I.  We had a great time,  went for a jog, had a nice lunch and played.

Eloise has some great tricks and she showed Anne how she could roll over.  Hopefully, Anne took some pointers.  Eloise is 5 days older than Anne.

Last weekend we were invited to Dan and Amanda's for a Halloween Party.  This is Anne with her friend, Zach.  He is 1 day older than Anne.  She was the only girl out of 6 babies at the party.  Her smile really wins the boys over.
