Today is Owen's 3rd birthday. Due to the flood we don't have wrapping paper or matches, but that won't stop us!

Our house has been gutted. Floors are gone. Doors are gone. Window hangings are gone. Cabinets are gone. Next will be the walls.

Preschool

Despite the flood, life moves on. Owen started his first day of preschool today. He was very excited. 

The Great Flood of 2014

We came home from our Phoenix trip to find that a toilet had malfunctioned flooding the entire house. Fortunately the water was from the tank and not the bowl. At this pout it appears the floor and walls were damaged with minimal damage to furniture, toys, and electronics. This was the seen Monday night when we got home. The carpets in all the bedrooms were completely soaked. It was like walking on a saturated sponge. 

Hiking in Arizona

We visited grandma and grandpa Farrey in Phoenix for the weekend. We decided to go on a short hike. Nothing beats hiking in Arizona!
