New Children's museum

They had this really neat outside space where the kids could paint farm equipment. There were layers and layer  of paint on a tractor windmill and wheelbarrow.

Fire and going to work with daddy

With all the fires in the county the schools were closed, including the preschool. Bionano set up a daycare in the conference room for all the displaced kids. Anne and Owen had a blast and did not want to leave. All my coworkers had a blast too, especially when Owen ran down the hall screaming he had to pee.

Here are some pictures from the day.

Anne watching frozen with a new friend.

Owen helping daddy collect some data

Finally on our way home here is a picture of the San Marcos fire burning on its second day.

There is a new hummingbird nest in a tree by our front door. There are currently no eggs in the nest, but let us hope there will be eggs soon.

Anne built this amazing structure at our friends house. Alex and Nancy were kind enough to watch the kids while we moved in.
