Moving in!

The house is almost complete. Jody and I started moving back in today. At this point only some minor things need to be done. We are hoping to spend the night on Monday.

There is a new hummingbird nest in a tree by our front door. There are currently no eggs in the nest, but let us hope there will be eggs soon. 

Anne built this amazing structure at our friends house. Alex and Nancy were kind enough to watch the kids while we moved in. 

A fun Easter

There was an Easter egg hunt at church and the kids had a blast. Lots of eggs and candy ... And kids

Later on we went to nickel city which is a great arcade where games cost a couple of nickels. Owen loves to play the race car games, but today he played this wheel game and spun a winner! He won a 1000 tickets. The tickets can be turned in for prizes and most prizes cost under a 100 tickets. So he was a big winner today!

Almost there...

The house is looking good. The bathrooms are almost done with only the medicine cabinet and mirrors left to install. We now have working sinks and toilets in the bathrooms! The kitchen is almost done with only some minor touch ups left. The laminate floors are being installed as I am writing this and the carpet will be installed on Monday!

The house

Not too many major updates for the house this week. Once again lots of little things in preparation for the bigger things to come. Mike, our contractor, says lots of changes are coming this week as they start on the home stretch. 

Shower in the master bathroom is up and the door is being installed. 

Closet doors installed in master bedroom along with vanity for master bathroom.

Back splash in kitchen installed. Doors placed on most cabinets. 

Tile being installed in fire place. Doors on desk installed as well. 

Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland in Thursday and Friday with the Farrey family. The Halls traveled from Michigan and grandpa and grandma came for Phoenix along with kris and Jim. A fun time was had by all.

Just got back from Phoenix and no surprises! Stopped by the house to see the progress. Not too much big items but lots of little items. Bedrooms all painted. Floor boards installed. New closet doors. Shower finished in master bath. Kitchen now has counter tops too.
