A Sad Colts Family

Okay, so we look pretty happy here, but we were bummed to see the Colts lose the superbowl.  We had a fun time watching the game with friends and getting dressed up though.

Here are Anne's 2 bottom teeth.  She's been doing great.  Eating meats and anything I'll put in front of her.  Over the past couple of weeks, she's just started to have separation anxiety.  Seems like a switch was flipped and now if she's playing and I leave the room she starts crying.  Its not only me that she does this for, thankfully.   It's nice to be attached for momma, but could make things more complicated.  So far, she'll still go to whomever.  They love her in the nursery at church.

Anne's Favorite Hobby

Anne loves this ball. It is a big fuzzy ball, with tags all around for her to grab, and a bell in the middle. As soon as she gets the ball she will often repeatedly bury her head in the ball. I have no idea why she does this, but it is very cute.

Anne Claps

Dad has been trying to get Anne to clap since she was born. As of February of 2009, Anne can clap on cue. Her father could not be prouder. You can hear dad clapping and encouraging Anne in the background of this video and Anne eagerly claps. However, the best part is near the end after Anne has decided to stop clapping. Through dad's encouraging words, Anne decides to clap some more, though it is only half heartedly.

Anne Learns Shapes

Anne really likes her shapes. She will pull out a new shape from the box, play with it for a bit, toss it aside and then pull out a new shape. In this video you can see her pulling out shapes, laughing, and banging them together. The full video for this is 7 minutes, but I could only give you 44 sec.

Water Babies

Anne started her swimming class last Saturday. These pics are from last week when Jeff took her. She was a bit timid, but enjoyed the class a bit more today. I took her this morning, today's skill was to learn to blow bubbles. The teacher recommended that we show the kids how to blow bubbles and then dip their mouth in the water. However, this generally resulted in Anne inhaling some pool water and choking. Guess we'll keep working on that one.

I was really surprised how buoyant Anne was. Almost feels like you could let her go and she would just float around. Don't worry, I'll hang on!

We're getting pumped for tomorrow's superbowl. I'm thinking I might send Anne to the nursery in her Colts Outfit. It is a dress afterall! Go Colts.

Sorry the pics are so dark. The lighting was obviously, not ideal.
