Bathroom Renovation

Our contractor is starting demo on our upstairs pink bathroom on Monday. We can't wait. We thought we'd post some before pictures and will again post when he's finished.

Isn't this just the perfect high school year book picture?

Can't beat the window in the shower. Nothing like showering enveloped in plastic.

Kix anyone?

Doesn't she look like she got in trouble? I was actually trying to get her to smile for this picture. I was in the living room and heard Anne in the kitchen messing with the cereal boxes, but obviously didn't check on things soon enough. Our cereal is kept on a low shelf in the kitchen and Anne loves to go in there and pull off the boxes. But now, she's realized that there's crinkly packaging inside the box and goes for it.

Here's Anne with her buddy, Zach who is 1 day older than she is.

What a cute butt! (or rear, as my dad would say!)

Spring in Boston

There was an amazing rainbow over Boston the other day. Too bad this photo doesn't do it justice. The construction barrel doesn't really add much in my opinion either.

Anne is starting to pull herself up on things. Just yesterday she pulled herself up to standing in the bathtub. She was not so happy when I sat her back down. The bath was pretty much over after that!

Jeff's Birthday

This gift was a family affair. Jeff had taken about 3 different shots of Boston from a hilltop near our home. His dad was able to splice them together with photoshop and had made a print and sent it out to Jeff. For his birthday, Anne and I decided to get it framed.

Jeff and I had a nice dinner out and ice cream afterwards while our friend, Paul, came over to "babysit." (quotes appropriate because Anne was asleep...ha!)

Weekend in the Big Apple

This past weekend we went down to NYC to visit Jen and David. We went to the Yankees Game on Saturday. We're sorry, Anne, that your first major league game was in Yankee Stadium, but they were playing the White Sox. A great time was had by all.
Look at what Jen found on the shelf at Steve Madden. She was even on sale!

The family enjoying the street fair atmosphere. This was obviously Anne's favorite part. She really did great though and cooperated with a couple of afternoon naps in the stroller.
New York Subway. Here's a funny story for ya. We got onto a very crowded train coming back from some shopping. Jen was holding Anne and no one, but an older Grandpa got up and offered Jen his seat. Seriously, someone should have been offering this guy a seat if they seen they way he was walking. Anyways, Jen and Anne ended up sitting next to this guys wife and the Grandpa was eventually able to sit back down next to them when a seat opened up. A few minutes go by, next time I look over there, this Grandpa is holding Anne! I looked over to Jeff and said, "Some man is holding our baby." Jeff replied, "he looks alright to me." "Guess so," I said and laughed. Good thing we're not the anxious type. Jen said the guy held out his hands to Anne. Could you really refuse a Grandpa? Guess not.

Goooooooo White Sox!
