A Visit to the Cousins

Anne and I went to Michigan for 5 days to visit my sister and her family.  We missed Daddy a lot, but had a great time.

Here we are visiting Jason's Grandma Ruth.  I also got to see Reagan's school while I was there.  She introduced me to her teacher.  My dear friend, Angie, from college, made the trek over to West Michigan with her family to visit.  It was so great to see her.  The last time I saw her was the day her son, Grant, was born and he just turned 3!

Here is a pic of Bryce playing the Wii with a little help from Jason.  We got Wii Fit for my mom for her birthday.  It was fun playing it together.

On the way back, we had a connection from Grand Rapids to Milwaukee.  When we were boarding the plane, the pilots told me if I had a camera, I should stop by on the way off the plane for a photo-op.  They were pretty fun guys.  Took Anne right on their lap and everything.  Anne did great on the plane.  She's becoming a seasoned traveler!

Vermont

Anne had a great time on her first trip to Vermont.  We visited the Cabot Creamery and took a tour and also the Ben and Jerry's Factory, which Jeff always likes to stop by for some ice cream.  We stayed at the Inn at Montpelier again, which is a favorite.  They were very accomodating to Anne and enjoyed having her there.

A Trip to the Museum of Science

Jeff and I took Anne to the Museum of Science in February to see the Harry Potter Exhibit.
Anne also got a chance to learn about what Grandpa Reifenberger researches.  Jeff told her all about it!  Doesn't see look intellectually stimulated?

A Sad Colts Family

Okay, so we look pretty happy here, but we were bummed to see the Colts lose the superbowl.  We had a fun time watching the game with friends and getting dressed up though.

Here are Anne's 2 bottom teeth.  She's been doing great.  Eating meats and anything I'll put in front of her.  Over the past couple of weeks, she's just started to have separation anxiety.  Seems like a switch was flipped and now if she's playing and I leave the room she starts crying.  Its not only me that she does this for, thankfully.   It's nice to be attached for momma, but could make things more complicated.  So far, she'll still go to whomever.  They love her in the nursery at church.

Anne's Favorite Hobby

Anne loves this ball. It is a big fuzzy ball, with tags all around for her to grab, and a bell in the middle. As soon as she gets the ball she will often repeatedly bury her head in the ball. I have no idea why she does this, but it is very cute.

Anne Claps

Dad has been trying to get Anne to clap since she was born. As of February of 2009, Anne can clap on cue. Her father could not be prouder. You can hear dad clapping and encouraging Anne in the background of this video and Anne eagerly claps. However, the best part is near the end after Anne has decided to stop clapping. Through dad's encouraging words, Anne decides to clap some more, though it is only half heartedly.

Anne Learns Shapes

Anne really likes her shapes. She will pull out a new shape from the box, play with it for a bit, toss it aside and then pull out a new shape. In this video you can see her pulling out shapes, laughing, and banging them together. The full video for this is 7 minutes, but I could only give you 44 sec.
