You just live for the day when your new baby starts to smile at you. When I took Owen to the doctor on Wednesday, he mentioned that Owen should be smiling soon and he did that afternoon. I didn't get it on camera until yesterday though. Melts this mommy's heart!

This is not an April Fool's Prank

This is the beauty we awoke to yesterday morning. This snow was actually pretty heavy. From the looks of it initially it seemed this tree was slumped over due to the weight of the snow, but on closer look, one of the branches has actually snapped. Looks like another weekend project in the works. I was actually feeding Owen in the spare bedroom yesterday morning and heard a branch brush against the window, but was obviously distracted by other tasks and didn't actually look out there until later and saw the branch had broken.
